Development of new course in Political Economy of Sustainable Energy

AYPEG together with Grigol Robakidze University have recently finished project which intended the development and implementation of a new course in Political Economy of Sustainable Energy. The project was financed by G-PAC’s University Assistance Grant program. The syllabus and the material of the course were composed using the recommendations from the USAID Hydropower Investment Promotion Project’s (HIPP) Energy Markets Expert – Valeri Vlechkov. The course materials were edited by the D.Sc. in Economics and Professor Demur Chomakhidze and published as book. The new course will be launched from fall semester, 2013 at Grigol Robakidze University for the MA students of the Energy Management module.
