Residential Energy Consumption Survey

AYPEG implemented the Residential Energy Consumption Survey (RECS) for Georgia. RECS aimed to study energy consumption characteristics in the Georgian residential sector and use corresponding information for energy planning and modelling.

The survey conducted across Georgia and the results are represented for the urban and rural household level. This study is one of the major components to improve the country’s energy statistics and energy strategy development.

The study is implemented with financial support from the USAID-funded Hydro Power and Energy Planning Project (HPEP).
